Disney quiere hacer del Día de Muertos una marca registrada

De concretarse la operación, si alguien quiere lanzar juguetes, videojuegos, pasta dental, o hasta pijamas relacionadas con la celebración del 2 de noviembre, tendrá primero que enfrentarse con The Walt Disney Company.

The Walt Disney Company pretende registrar como una de sus marcas la frase ‘Día de los Muertos’, una tradición mexicana de raíces prehispánicas, y así asegurar que no pueda ser comercializada por otra empresa, informó el portal web StichKingdom.com.

De concretarse la operación, detalló el portal, si alguien quiere lanzar juguetes, videojuegos, pasta dental, o hasta pijamas relacionadas con la celebración del 2 de noviembre, tendrá primero que lidiar con la compañía que ha dado vida a personajes como Micky Mouse o el Pato Donald.
